@Foodie.. I like that. In my opinion you have to learn to love yourself & show yourself love in order to be able to love someone else & show any one else affection.

I'm a very affectionate person (provided that I'm FEELIN' you of course!) and over time I've realized how much most men NEED affectionate/love/physical touch and how much they really appreciate that quality in a woman.

AMEN sister..LOL..It's funny cuz people have this misconception sometimes that women need affection more but most men need it more. ANd a simple gesture of affection does go a long way.

Girl, I think some men would literally die if they were deprived of it for too long! And yes, it goes a long way. ;-) Nothin’ like a nice loving/affectionate head rub (I’m talkin’ about the one attached to the neck! Lol), some sweet kisses on the face or a good sniff! Like Mofo come here, I love your stink! Let me dig my nose all in your neck and get one good sniff! Lol

yes a good sniff will go a long way..A head rub on the other head will go a long way too!! :)

When I think of affection, lately I've been thinking of how some people (read men) can want it, but be afraid of it at the same time. I think showing affection is such a rare form of intimacy for some men that they don't now what to do with it once they receive it. It's like it truly frightens them. Sex they can deal with, but affection requires some sort of feeling, an emotion - and I think that scares them to death!
